There are a few things that make this email top-notch.
- It is sent from the student's official IU email address. We cannot communicate with or respond to personal emails!
- The subject is brief and descriptive, and included the lab section number.
- There is a short greeting. It shows that you know who you are contacting.
- The body tells us what you need and (if applicable) why you need it. No fluff required.
- There is a salutation.
